Our Team

Jason Ogilvy

Jason has been around steel construction and manufacturing since 1998. Starting as a qualified builder using both timber and steel frames to moving into the private residential development space to supplying steel frames to local builders. With the construction background and working with several large engineering firms in Qld for years, I have a broad range of experiences to focus Ultraspan to add value to clients
My recent startup experience developing and securing AU approvals of the Structnail® range of steel frame pins with Bluescope (TRUECORE®), Weathertex and JamesHardie™ was a modivation to continue offering unique and value added steel solutions. After selling Structnail we are continuing to be that specialist for builders.

Luke Ogilvy

Luke joined the company in 2024 as the Business Manager. His involvement deals with creating and maintaining good systems and processes for future success. His previous role was a business analyst with a large national engineering firm and team leader managing onshore and offshore staff. Luke is someone who has a care factor for both our products and clients. He is a key part of our success.
